The GrammarCheck website (the "Site") is an online information and text-analysis service operated by Roth Media GmbH (“Roth Media GmbH”, “we”, “us”, "our"). Your use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the Terms below.
Please read this document carefully before using the Site. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Site. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
1. Copyright, Licenses, and User Submissions
The contents of the Site are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. All rights are owned or licensed by Roth Media GmbH or third-party licensors.
You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any material from the Site without prior written permission, except that you may print or download portions for your own non-commercial use while retaining copyright notices.
You retain ownership of any text you privately submit to the grammar checker. We process such text solely to operate the service. We do not permanently store the text you submit to the free grammar checker.

GrammarCheck and related marks are trademarks or service marks of Roth Media GmbH. Other names mentioned may be trademarks of their respective owners.
2. Use of the Site
The grammar checker uses automated algorithms and does not guarantee accuracy. Not all errors may be detected or corrected. You remain responsible for reviewing all suggestions.
All text processing features, including free and deep grammar checking, are provided “as is” without any warranty. We do not warrant that suggestions or corrections will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your intended purpose.
We may display links to or recommendations for third-party products and services. We may receive commissions when you install or purchase a third-party app through our links. Third-party products and websites have their own Terms and Privacy Policies. We are not responsible for their content, security, or data practices.
When using www.grammarcheck.net/editor, its tools, or the "Deep Check" feature, the text you enter may be transmitted to a third-party API provider and may be visible to them along with technical metadata such as your IP address. Roth Media GmbH does not control these third-party systems and is not responsible for their storage practices, data retention, security measures, or data handling. These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Do not submit personal, sensitive, or confidential information.
Although we take reasonable steps to maintain the security and availability of the Site, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roth Media GmbH is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively before the courts of Bern, Switzerland.
Any claim relating to the Site must be brought within one (1) year of the date the claim arises. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms at any time without notice.
